Allison is the best. She makes us smile every time, whether it’s to scarf down some of her favorite slices or to introduce her Improv friends to the Dimo’s experience. Allison’s love for crispy, creative pizza brings her to this fated day when she becomes Crustomer of the Month.

Allison found her way to Chicago from Mesa, Arizona, following her dreams of improvisational and sketch comedy. She has studied Improv at Second City, Improv Olympics, and The Annoyance. Even cooler, Allison is an ensemble member at our lovely neighbors Under The Gun Theatre – which if you’ve never been, you’ve GOTTA go! When she’s not making the crowd laugh weekly at Under the Gun, Allison travels throughout the city and joins the audience to support her comedic friends. Having stumbled upon Dimo’s after rehearsal, she continues that tradition of coming in for pizza after a long day full of laughs. We love her. 

She loves the release improvisational comedy offers her claiming, “it’s a rare thing to be able to play ‘pretend’ as an adult”. Everything she does is pretty dope, one specific show she put together caught our attention. She and a friend organized a showcase called, “People Who Can’t” that invites people of color throughout Chicago who perform all forms of art together for one night a month. All the money raised from these shows are donated to a classroom on the West Side of Chicago. Big heart, we know. 

What is your favorite Dimo’s memory? 
After a particularly fun “It’s Your Funeral” show at Under The Gun, we took all our friends in the audience to get pizza and hang out.

If you could have a dream pizza what would be on it?
My dream pizza has chicken and ranch as toppings. I am very very lucky to live in a pizzaverse where my dreams are a reality thanks to Dimo’s.

What are your hobbies outside of eating pizza?
Outside of pizza and Improv, I play guitar, it’s my favorite outlet, cause like my pizza, I don’t share it with anyone. I also play basketball when I can!
