Our boy John has been coming to Dimo’s for the last 2 years. He is literally not just one of our favorite customers but he’s an amazing person. Seriously. He is SO easy to talk to, and a true genuine soul – but still goofy and fun. A prime Dimo’s cRustomer, he is. AND Because of his dedication, today unlike most days, John gains the coveted title few before him have had the honor to hold in their hands. Today, John becomes cRustomer of the month. 

Outside of ordering his favorite Dimo’s slice, which is a classic Pepperoni, John’s pretty busy being the coolest person ever. A Julliard graduate and professional violinist, he spends a large chunk of his time teaching children Violin at the Music Institute of Chicago. We know, we know, super cool right? 

John starts teaching kids as early as age three. But what’s even cooler is, he teaches the parents alongside the children, giving them both a chance to grow together. AND 12 years later when that three year old becomes an emotional, angst-filled pre-teen, they’ll have an artistic outlet matched with the skills and ability to create art. All thanks to John. 

Besides molding the minds of our youth, John also loves going to see shows of all shapes and sizes - Theatre, Dance, Music, Art, you name it and he’s there. John, stop being so cool. 

What keeps you coming back for more? 
The New York City style pizza, it’s great, it’s delicious, and obviously, the people who work here. 

John, what would be on your dream pizza? 
It would be called the “Violet Beauregarde” and essentially be a four-course meal….but, you know, on a pizza. 

What else would you like to share with the “Pizzaverse”? 
I think honest Abe Lincoln said it best when he said “Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.”
