Love is in the air, and we are smitten by our Couple of the Month. 

Michelle and Pedro have been gracing our store for the last year, and continue to sweep in with huge smiles on their faces.

These two lovebirds met on Tinder (“at a party” if their parents ask) and have since been inseparable. 

Pedro states his favorite thing about Michelle to be “I love how she is so intelligent, but unpretentious. She’s incredibly cultured and educated, but she is a total goofball.” 

Michelle claims “My favorite thing about Pedro is how comfortable we are with each other, and how well-matched I think we are in practically everything from intelligence to political beliefs, to dumb stuff like ice cream flavor preference.” So cute, right? 

Pedro studies Marketing and Music Business, and Michelle is majors in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. Besides chowing down on our pizza, and hitting the books, Pedro’s got his sights set on working at a record label and one day owning his own. Michelle hopes to go on to Graduate
School, and learn another language—right now she’s got Spanish AND Polish down! 

Outside of the ever-rotating pizza variety, they continue to return to Dimo’s for the awesome atmosphere “It’s exactly the kind of place you’d want to ‘drunkenly’ eat pizza, because everyone is always really nice, and there is always cool music playing.”

What is your favorite Dimo’s Slice?
Pedro: Hawaiian or Vegan Mac! The Vegan Mac has got the best vegan cheese I’ve had in my life.

Michelle: The Hawaiian, but due to my recent attempt to return to vegetarianism, I’m changing my answer to the Mac. 

What is your ultimate favorite thing to do in The City?
P: Probably DIY shows and art galleries. They’re a cool way to meet new people, listen to new music, and just support local art in general.

M: The Architecture Foundation River Cruise! It is the coolest way to see the city.

What are some of your hobbies?
P: I like cooking, singing, and doing theatre on the side. I also started an animal rights club at DePaul, so that keeps me busy.

M: I really love film and TV, my favorite movie in the past few years is probably Stoker and my favorite TV show is True Detective. I also really enjoy travel even though that is an expensive and less frequent hobby. My favorite destination thus far was definitely Prague, it’s so small and charming that it’s easy to feel like you’ve lived there for years after just a few days. 

Anything else you would like to share with the Pizza-verse?
P: Legalize Marinara.

M: This picture of the hideous creature that inhabits my home. Her name is Pixie and I’ve been told she’s a “Shih Tzu.” (dubious).
