About two years ago, Amanda made a very big decision. She changed her diet in order to adopt a vegan lifestyle. Now hold the phone! Just because she gave up animal products, didn’t mean that she was ready to sacrifice one of her favorite foods. In came Dimo’s vegan pizza. She recounts many Thursday nights spent ordering vegan slices to get her ‘za fix. Since then she has started eating dairy again, and is just as dedicated to her favorite slice stop.

Of course, when the Dimo’s crew is playing her favorite tunes (namely Prince) it makes her trips all the more spectacular. Because who doesn’t like to get their Prince dance moves on with a slice of ‘za? But wait, there’s one more thing that makes her trips to Dimo’s even better. Prince, pizza, and the pizza ladies! The ladies of Dimo’s, though often outnumbered on the workforce, make up for it with their spectacular music choices, great conversation, and well, all around awesomeness. (Our opinion may be a little biased.)

You may think this all sounds a little too good to be true, but Amanda’s story gets even more exciting. She just so happens to be graduating from DePaul this month! We couldn’t think of a better way to honor our favorite college graduating, bra burning, groove shaking crustomer.
