Wrigleyville 3463 N Clark St
Our flagship store, in the liver of Wrigleyville began serving up slices on Clark St. all the way back in the summer of 2008. It may not seem like long, but we’ve seen plenty of changes in that time. Our Iphones were only 3Gs, there was no such thing as a “disco stick”, and the Cubs hadn’t even reached 100 years without a World Series. You may have also known us then by a different name then. We operated as Ian’s Pizza, a company forged in Madison, Wisconsin. A few (hundred) beers, baseball games, and slices later, we grew to love the city and our neighbors.
Then the time came for Ian’s to franchise. Given this option, we decided to opt out of joining the franchise. In making this decision, we promised to give our store the most potential to cultivate new opportunities – both for our employees, but also for our dedicated and hungry Chicago “crustomers”.
So, in March of 2012 Dimo’s Pizza Wrigleyville was evolved. Our staple pizza options, original employees and ownership were all the same. As a local company, we soon broadened our community involvement, began putting our company values into action, and looked insatiably for new ways to build relationships in our ‘hood.
Wicker Park 1615 N. Damen Ave.
Our newest location sits amid the hub of the Wicker Park & Bucktown neighborhoods at the six corners intersection of North, Damen, and Milwaukee. And with about three times the space of our flagship, this space reps a made-to-order salad bar, vegan by the slice everyday, craft beer options, and a stage for live music and showcasing local art.
When approaching the build out this space, we chose a unifying theme. The idea was to repurpose and give new life to materials that would have once been wasted, from reclaimed wood shelves to vintage industrial light fixtures and recycled newspaper artwork. Being green is a high priority for our company and finding ways to recycle creatively became a fun challenge for our team. We hope you enjoy our new space as much as we enjoyed creating it for you.
