Arthur Erikson is practically an alumnus to Dimo’s. While studying at the University of Wisconsin Arthur added an emphasis in bomb-ass-’za at the
local Ian’s pizza joint. Naturally, after his graduation a change was in order. That change meant it was time to pack up from Madison and move to the windy city. In his words, moving to a location that offered that same melty, chewy, generous slices as his alma mater made him “ecstatic.”

Arthur is known in the store for his affinity for delivery, regularly ordering the 12 inch peperoni with a special request: DO NOT CUT. His kindness and understanding are obvious, as he goes by AJ but has never once introduced himself as such when placing an order. He’s so formal that delivery announces his order to the whole store whenever it comes in! Speculations in the store surmounted as to why he prefers his pies uncut. Does he cut it himself? Is he opposed to sharing? Or does he just fold the pie into a giant calzone and eat the entire masterpiece in one bite?

It turns out, Arthur (AJ) Erikson knows a few tricks about the pizzaverse. As he says, “Ordering pizzas uncut when doing delivery keeps them hotter and fresher, FYI.” When he isn’t hacking the Pizzaverse, AJ studies full time at Loyola, listens to good music, and hits the streets of Chicago to find what other amazing things our neighborhood has to offer. No matter how you slice it, AJ is a wayfaring Pizzanaut. In our book, he’s out of this world.
