This is a story of love at first slice. Prior to finding Dimo’s, Chris had pretty much given up on pizza all together. A long-time vegan, he never found a vegan pizza option that satiated his pizza hunger pains. Then, after hearing good things about a “rad pizza place” he headed to Dimo’s. And as they say, the rest is pie-story.

Now he looks forward to the newest vegan special of the month, or his standby favorite the vegan BBQ Steak n’ Fries. We look forward to
seeing him in the store regularly. Actually, we’ve gotten to know him so well that he’s tattooed one of our employees. 

A tattoo artist by trade at Family Tattoo (check ‘em out at 2125 W. Belmont), Chris also stays busy playing the drums in two Chicago- based bands, reading old comic books, and playing vintage video games. And we can’t forget his all-time favorite pastime, biking the city (always with a helmet, of course).

So now for the true question we’re dying to know: if Chris could make his own dream pizza, what would be on it? To quote him exact- ly, it would have to be “orange glaze base with white rice, broccoli, and vegan orange chicken on top.” Yep, clearly we chose a worthy candidate for Crustomer of the Month.
