One a fateful summer morning, we trekked to our neighbors Dark Tower Comics (formally G-Mart Comics, may they rest in peace) in search of something to keep our Crustomers entertained while they sat and snacked on their slices.

We quickly found success and they loaded us up with a number of games they were willing to part ways with. 

Soon enough, people were trading their IDs for Catan and Uno, for Monopoly and Jenga, for Candyland and Connect Four! The hype lasted awhile, but as summer gave way to winter and people took to playing board games in the warmth of their humble abodes and ordering their pizza to-go, the desire for an in-store board set-up slowly faded.

The games sat on a shelf collecting dust until the Wicker Park crew needed the space to hold more important Dimo's things. They shoved them into the attic, where the board games lay forgotten with all of the other forsaken and abandoned Dimo's treasures. 

They didn't see the light for nearly 6 months, that is until the gang at Dimo's Café asked us to haul them over so that they could make excellent use of them. Thus, Dimo's Board Game Night — which, subsequently, takes place during the day and is actually called Family Game Night — was born. The games (+ a few others) now live comfortably on top of the Café drink cooler and are up for grabs every Sunday afternoon. Not a fan of our selection? No worries! Feel free to bring your own. 

The only thing we ask is that you make a purchase while you're here. We're running some sweet deals on whole pies to make it easy for 'ya. 

Just please, no fights. We know Monopoly can get intense, but we reeealllly don't want to have to hire security.
