Eric Lower is our hardcore Artist Of The Quarter. He works with an array of materials for his skull apple illustrations, from canvas to sheet metal. Yeah, you read right. Skull. Apples. Dude also made some rad skull pizzas on canvas for us as well. Let’s learn some fun facts about our artist. (Note: All works hung on the store are for sale.)

What led you to become an artist? 
Well, I basically failed at, or became fed up with... just about everything else I’ve tried so far. The Universe has been unrelenting in forcing me to pursue my creative visions, whether anyone else cares or not. 

How would you describe your artistic style? 
Comic books, tattoos, heavy metal. I’m drawn (pun intentional) to technical line-work, extreme colors, and dark content. 

What do you do outside of making art? 
I do a little bit of freelance design work, and a lot of bartending. I also take care of my Doberman, and I play a significant amount of online chess to keep my brain sharp. 

If you were a slice of pizza what kind of pizza would you be? 
The kind sent back in time from the future to prevent extinction of the human race by a sentient cyborg pizza slice invasion. I would 
coincide with summer blockbuster movie franchises for sponsorship and revenue. 

What do you think is your spirit animal? 
Chimera.
