Rising Costs, Changing Prices

We raised our prices this past month. It’s not something we’re excited about, nor is it something that we’ve done without thought. It’s been an ongoing process to reckon with the current rising cost of goods with our pie prices. You’ve probably noticed this yourself in the grocery store. It seems like everything is getting more expensive. While of course we care about keeping our pizza affordable, we have to be able to cover our food costs and also take care of our employees and storefronts.

We’re trying to keep things manageable for you and  still sustainable for us. We didn’t change every pie price, just the necessary ones. All of our 12” pies prices are staying the same. The Pep 2.0, White Pie, Buff Chick, Chicken and Waffles? All the same. You’ll notice slight increases on the cheesy breadsticks, the classic pies, and a couple of others containing more costly ingredients.

With this said, we want to remind you of the size of our 20” pies. A 20” pizza has an area of about 314 square inches. A 16” pie only has an area of around 201 square inches. The 12” is about 113 square inches.  If you pay $24 elsewhere for a 16” pie, that’s 8.38 square inches of pizza per $1. A $34 20” pie gets you 9.24 square inches of pizza per $1. We’re not trying to claim cheapest pizza awards but we want you to be aware of our value. Mostly, we’re reminding you that our pizza is still worth it.

Love,
