We love all kinds here at Dimo’s: meat-eaters, ranch enthusiasts, pizza purists and pizza adventurists alike, and of course vegans. That’s why we have a little of everything on our huge—and growing—menu.

Much of our menu is the result of years of research, testing (i.e. eating) and rotation on our robust specials menu until its popularity is tried and true. Sometimes though, an idea comes to us in a flash and the genius of it is so overwhelming that we have to jump right in. Vegan pepperoni was just such an idea.

To us, just slapping any old “meat replacement” on our house made marinara and delicious Daiya cheese would be an insult. And you know what they say: if you want it done correctly, do it yourself. So our Culinary Curator went to work. He labored many days and nights in the pizza labs, trying to achieve the perfect consistency, spice, and texture to top our vegan pies.

After months of hard work, and more than a few test runs, we finally have a vegan pepperoni we can stand behind. While it has a classic soy base to create that sought-after texture and sizzle, it’s bound together with just enough spice to perk you up. It’s versatile, tasty (we can attest to its merits as a stand alone snacking item), and looks darn good on a pizza.
